Ben was lucky enough to be born into Jazz. As the great nephew of legendary jazz producer Orrin Keepnews music was always a major part of his life. Ben grew up working at record stores and sifting through his uncles collection, while stories of Jazz greats helped shaped his views and musical interests. Finally realizing his dream of owning his own record store, Ben opened Tunnel Records in San Francisco with the help of his wife in 2017. Sharing music and his love of vinyl is his passion, and the shops growth only has encouraged him to dig deeper and continue brining both obscure and well known records to his clientele.
